Preston, Warlock of the Keepe: A Wizard Realm short

Witches and warlocks are the oldest of the magicals, but their powers are limited. Then came the wizards with much more ability. The fae created, for the wizards, their own private domain, residing somewhere in the faerie realm–the Wizard’s Keepe. The Keepe was a wondrous place, like an elegant luxury resort. It soon became too big for the wizards to manage on their own, so they brought in the lesser magicals (witches and warlocks) to run the place–the service staff.

Warlock Preston was enthralled with the Keepe. This is his story. He got his dream–something many of us wish for–but it came at a cost. Whether the ending is good or bad is not for us to say.
